You are the proud owner of a shop selling fantastical items to adventurers of many shapes and sizes. However, other Shopkeepers are trying to steal your business, it is imperative that your shop outshines everyone else!


What is the game?

Tableshop is a competitive deckbuilding card game for 2-4 players. 

  • Playtime: 30-60 minutes
  • Players: 2-4
  • Suitable for ages 10+. Moderate reading required.
  • Colour blind friendly (does not rely on colours to play)
  • Core Mechanics: Drafting, Trading, Strategy
  • Similar to: Fort (Leder Games) and Seasons (Libellud)

Draft your shops inventory and sell items to gain gold. Make sure you keep on eye on the Demand Track as items fall in and out of style very quickly around here, who knows when an adventurer will need a sword to kill a dragon or some bones to keep a witch happy. Get your Reputation to max before everyone else and proudly exclaim yourself as the best Shopkeeper in town!



What was this game made for?

Tableshop was made as part of a board game jam over 72 hours as a submission for Indiepocalypse Issue #29.


What do I get?

1 Print & Play Package for Tableshop, including:

  • Rules PDF (set up to be printed and folded to make an A5 booklet)
  • Cards & Tokens PDF
  • Extra Coins PDF

All assets have art. 


What else do I need?

For the Print & Play:

  • Card to print the Cards & Tokens on (12 sheets of A4)
  • Paper to print the Rules (2 sheets of A4)

A printer and some scissors. 

Optional:

  • Extra sheets of card for Extra Coins
  • A Box to store it
  • A bag for the Demand Tokens
  • A bag for the Coins
  • 4 Meeples (if you prefer to use them instead of the card reputation markers)


For the digital copy:

You will need a copy of Tabletop Simulator (available through Steam or similar).

Any chance of a printer-friendly version later on? This looks really pretty and fun but the cards would kill a printer

Can’t see why not! Just black & white? With or without the item art? 

I'm mostly concerned with the full color backgrounds and it'd probably take something away if the color coding were lost so maybe just changing the backgrounds to white and simplifying the item art?

The colour coding isn’t necessary at all (the icons are all different to be colour blind accessible) but I get what you mean! Will see what we can do 🥳
