Thank you's, mentions & update!
First of all, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who played, commented and downloaded Pageturner!
The reception we got from the community was insane! You guys are awesome <3
Epic Megajam
We were within the top 5 most popular games of the Epic Megajam for the majority of the judging period (and even hit the top spot for a brief moment!) and we're so thankful for the recognition from the community.
We even got mentioned by Amanda on the Epic Megajam results stream as one of the games she really enjoyed! (1:15:20 in the video below)
Articles
We were lucky enough to have two articles published about the game, an adorable article about the game concept on IndieGamesPlus and an interview with us by Joel Couture for GameDeveloper.com. Please go give them a read, the interview in particular goes into detail about our thoughts and design process for Pageturner.
Reviews & Playthroughs
We had some members of the community record playthroughs and reviews of Pageturner - Blackcrow40 and TheVideoGameAnthologist. Thank you again for taking the time to play Pageturner! If you have a moment, please go give them a view and a like to support these content creators.
What's next?
We have been mega busy over the past few weeks - including being down at Develop: Brighton where Cari was speaking.
However, the eagle eyed among you may notice that Pageturner's release status has changed from "Released" to "Prototype". Because of the overwhelming support and love from our players, we've decided to look into expanding this little project. There's a lot to figure out, and development will be slow (full time student + full time UX Designer). We also need to enlist someone with programming expertise to help us create a robust code base. But it's something we'd like to try - if it's possible!
We are so thrilled that our humble, buggy little game jam game received so much love. Thank you all for being awesome <3
Much love,
Scott & Cari
